About Randall Bullen
At the age of 17, photography was not a discipline with which I was remotely familiar. After entering the Art Institute of Chicago at 17 on a four-year scholarship for painting and drawing, my advisor suggested I expand my proficiencies and investigate a new visual media. He recommended photography! I purchased my first camera for $5 at the State Street Kresge's Department Store in downtown Chicago. It was a plastic rangefinder that needed 21/4 x 21/4 film. This was the beginning of a lifelong passion for photographic exploration, experimentation and enjoyment!
As of 2004, 34yrs later, I am a retired art director/artist. Photography was my major area of concentration—teaching and managing photo programs at both the high school and college level. I am now a professional photographer specializing in portraits (individual/headShots) families and events. Other image solutions offered in my work include: copy work, photo documentation of artist's artwork (2D & 3D) and photo restoration. Most of my work is done on location.
I realize that it is a challenge to find a photographer you like and with whom you feel comfortable. With this in mind, I am committed to ensuring you the highest image quality while capturing and preserving your special moments!
